How do I become a Member?
Becoming a Member is easy! Simply click the register link to your right and fill in your basic information. You will receive an email confirmation with activation information. Once your Membership is activated, you can login and begin using the Member features, such as downloading free content!



How do I download an item?
Downloading items is super easy. If you want to download a free item, simply view the item and click 'add to downloads'. If you wish to purchase a license and then download the item, add the item to your cart and checkout. When your payment is received, your purchased item will show up in your downloads page. Follow the 'download' tab and you will see purchased items, free items, etc. Select 'download' and you will then be prompted to save the item to your local computer!



Why do I have to become a Member to download?
We only allow verified Members with a valid email address to download items from our site. Why? Our items and products are valuable content, and this allows us to serve and protect our customers and our vendors better. Becoming a Member is easy, and it gives you access to content and special offers. We have a strict Privacy Policy, so your information is always safe with us. Do you have a forum?
We do not currently have a forum, however, it is in our plans to have a forum in the future. Stay tuned!



Do you provide tech support?
In short, yes, for purchased items only. We provide limited tech support to help you download your items, and if you have problems, such as your item will not open or is corrupted. In this rare case, we will do everything in our power to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Additional tech support may be provided by the Vendor of the item you have purchased. NOTE: It is your responsibility to be aware of the filetype that you are downloading AND to have the proper software to open or use the file you are downloading. Please double check this information before buying an item.



What type of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. If you have a PayPal account, you can also use an ECheck, a bank transfer or an account balance to pay for an item.



Are the items royalty free?
Yes! All items available for license and download are royalty free. This means that you can use them in your work without having to pay additional fees later on. For more information on our licensing policy, please view our End User License Agreements.



Can you ship my purchased items to my physical address?
Sorry, not at this time. However, we are aware that sometime you have either a slow connection or too many items to download in a timely manner. We will soon be offering a shipping program for a small additional fee. Please say tuned.



What if there is a problem with my purchase?
If you have a problem with a download or with a file not opening properly, we will do everything in our power to resolve this issue in a timely manner. We may have you download the file again to make sure it's not corrupted. We may also call upon the Vendor of the item to assist you further. It is in our best interest to have only satisfied customers, so rest assured that we will be here for you if necessary.



What's the best way to contact you?
The best way to contact us is through our contact form! You will see a 'contact' tab in our main menu, select that and fill out the form to email us. We will always get back to you just as soon as we can. We do not yet offer telephone support, but we may offer this in the future.



Can I sell my own work on 3dmodelshop.com?
In short, not quite yet. Our Vendor Program is currently in Beta Testing. We plan on offering our Vendor Program in two flavors, Standard and Elite Vendors. At first, we will be accepting applications for our Elite Vendor Program. Vendors who qualify will be able to upload and sell their 3d models and related content directly through our main web site. Later, we will offer a Standard Vendor program. Standard Vendors will not need to apply, however, the items for sale through the Standard Vendor program will only be available for sale through a special Vendor Homepage. It is possible for Standard Vendor Items to be bumped to Elite Status at anytime. Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming Vendor Programs.



When will the Vendor Program be available?
Soon! If you would like to be notified when this program is available, contact us through our contact form and ask to be notified. We'll email you when it's ready!



How much money can I earn as a Vendor?
The sky is the limit! It's a bit cliche, but it's true! It really depending on how many quality items you have upload for sale. The more quality items, the more you can earn. Our royalty rates will be better than the industry standard, and since you are selling licenses of your work, you can sell them again and again. It's similar to a musician selling the same song again and again. It's a win win situation.



Do you have an affiliate program?
No, not at this time. This is something we may consider in the future, but it is not a priority at this time.
